Weipa enjoys a tropical climate all year round. In the tropics there are only two seasons. The wet from November through to March and the dry season for the rest of the year. Everyday during the dry season is moderately temperate with vibrant blue skies. Nights are clear and bright as you watch the stars appear in an unforgettable Weipa sky. Sunsets on the beach are especially enjoyable as the northern skies put on spectacular glowing sunsets.

Daytime temperatures will range from 28-34C with nights sitting around the 19C mark. During the winter, days are warm and nights are cool to mild.

Whatever way you look at it Cape York is a land of contrasts with pristine beaches rolling to original outback.
